�Happy New Year�
The New Year has come upon us now,
With this our time to reflect the past,
A look forward to the future some how,
A time to make the good things last,
Lets take a moment each and every one,
To remember the things we�ve done,
All the good that we did this last year,
The love, the laughter, joy, and cheer,
Lets not forget the mistakes we�ve had,
Or things that have made us, and others sad,
All the things we�ll never do again,
The loss of a loved one or friend,
But alas, the resolutions we all make,
A new years tradition we all break,
Its OK your not alone one bit,
The first failure of the year that�s it,
Now I wanted all of you to know,
As this poem ends and I let you go,
We can�t win them all and that�s no lie,
But damn it you know we sure can try,
So take this poem into the New Year,
With love, laughter, joy, and cheer,
My wish�s to you that your days are many,
And that your happy new years are plenty.
