"MY PLEDGE"
I pledge my soul to some degree,
The thoughts and ideas of Christianity,
I pledge my very heart as well,
For I do not wish to go to hell,
I pledge to do the best I can,
To be a kind and gentle man,
I pledge my very life you see,
To avoid the religious hypocrisy,
I pledge to believe organized religions a joke,
Yet, believe in the words that god has spoke,
I pledge to believe that Jesus is king,
And for this reason I can sing,
I pledge to pray to you each night,
That many will read these words I write,
I pledge to teach my children what I do,
So that they to will make this pledge to you,
I pledge my love forever and true,
This pledge is from me,
This pledge is to you.
