Little Mimosa
My little dear Mimosa
Fear not the wintry chill
Your roots deep down under
Are growing stronger still
You may not see the progress
From where your trunk now stands
But deep below the surface
Your beauty just expands
These winter months are vital
For rest and inner growth
Your faith and hope are crucial
Believe, you need them both
God promises to see you
Through everything in life
Offering a grander view
Than focusing on strife
My little dear Mimosa
Soon you will bud and bloom
Your veins will fill with laughter
Dispelling winter's gloom
