C r i m s o n

those red lips
hopping across dendrites
they trigger my heart to feed my crotch
instant need

i don't know what is first
the chemical PH the synapses swim in
or the awakening you induce
but your long legs ignite the swarm

your talents, rare like eagles
pillaging my needs
circle
sewing the scraps of the attention you give me
swooping, all of them, in the brilliant pattern of a noose

and when you leave, i fall apart
loosening from your immediate grip
plummeting onto the hard floor of distance
of hours pixelating on your revealing form, your fun, and your games

there is never enough exposure to your milky thighs and hips
as they branch into the stems of your calfs
you know how difficult it is for us to watch
to lurk in your midst

and you know that our moth skin tinges at the sight of you
and the memory of your gaze
tatoos itself upon the rhythm of my pulse
seeping into the flow of my arousal

i am mesmerized by you...who isnt
with your teasing ways
announced
i suffer in silence
