this is how to make a irregular border in psp 8.

first, take the image you'd like to add the border to.

open it up in psp and choose the free hand selection tool. make the settings to match this:

how click random points arount where you'd like the border to be on your image. anywhere is fine. once you've done that, double click. it should now look like this:

now, open up a new image. it shoud be 800x600, unless the image you are adding the border to is bigger then 800x600, then, just make the new image big enough to fit the one your adding borders to. use the flood tool and make the new image whatever colour you'd like the border to be. now go to your image your adding the border to, and press Ctrl C [to copy]. after that go to the new image and press Ctrl V. [to paste] it should now look like this:

next, go to Selections, then Modify, then Expand. like this:

now you can choose how thick you want the border to be, the higher the number, the thicker the border will be.

thats all, you're done. now just copy and pase it into animation shop and save it as a .gif
