Paradox
For Paul
Odysseus saw a laptop fall from the sky
And wondered why?
The reason escaping his comprehension
He picked up his axe in apprehension
To defend from future fallings
Out of wallings
Defenestrating.
A yelp for help near
Caught up his ear
A man, money-kissed,
Scared economist,
Trapped und'r
A red Herbie car,
A beetle blanket
That he knew he had to uncan it.
With a whistle shrill
He found a thistle drill,
He gave forth a shove,
And with Locke love
As the pistons parted
The man experienced wholehearted freedom.
They drank a hat full of Hoopla
At the Table Saw
Where Lay-Dio
Sang on the radio.
He still knew not why the sky lost its locks,
What a paradox?
