In
Living Color
If colors were feelings and emotions
life would be a rainbow,
Willow
white, a little flighty,
Sterling silver, where ease meets a
silver-tongued tease,
|
Soft
grey, mellow as the moon,
Thunderstorm grey, a
hurricane migraine pain,
Midnight black, seach for singular solitude,
|
Burnt
brown, like being knee deep in it
Fire red, cinders of anger,
|
Orchid
orange, when happiness is the range,
Incandescent
yellow, a
sunshine soul,
|
Grass
green, full of life,
Sky blue, feeling
forever
free,
|
Ocean
blue, swimmingly serene
Raspberry purple, proud and pleased,
|
Playful pink, a heartbeat away from Love.
|
When I'm with you I am playfully pink,
because it is your incandescent yellow, I think,
that gives me that orchid orange aurora,
a grass green aura,
my sky blue season,
You give me sterling silver smiles,
a little willow white style of you,
dipped in soft grey words,
for that I thank the Lord.
And,
For you, I will be there
to calm your stray
thunderstorm grey days,
there to subdue
fire red hues
with my ocean blue
waves keeping you safe,
my dear.
For this I am
raspberry purple to be
a part of your life,
hoping that your midnight black hour
will soon end,
waiting by your side
to be more than a friend,
sometimes tongue-tied,
sometimes unsure,
but forever aware of
the treasure
that Love
can bring in its hour of power.
