For Rod
The uncomfortable snowman
who found himself very portable
from forever melting,
felt best days behind him,
heartful of childrens' love,
in remembrance of
Christmas morning,
A manger nursery,
Jesus' anniversary,
but, ironicly still standing
after Season's change
wondered what would be worst,
to be here now out-of-place
or to be first in a child's face?
