She became an unwed teenage mother in August of 1994 when she gave birth to her first daughter, Christina Allene. She managed motherhood, full-time college classes, and her friends while completing her certification in Basic Emergency Medicine and became a licensed EMT in June of 1996. In September of that same year, Linsey met her soon to be husband at one of many AA dances she attended with her father and sister. Gerry and Linsey were wed the next May and their son Jason Thomas was born that September, about a year after they first met.
Linsey has always had a love of writing of any kind, mostly poetry. Her works are often written about her feelings and emotions at the time. She writes poems of emotion, poems of love, poems of the soul, as well as erotica poems.
I met Linsey in our eighth grade science class in August of 1991. Eleven years we've been friends and I have truly never found a friend so loving, caring, and devoted to those she loves. Linsey has been an inspiration in my life, as well as the lives of her other friends and family. It is my personal honor to be know her and call her my friend.
