| Born and raised in Fairfield, Connecticut, Justin Long has become a favorite of viewers on NBCs critically acclaimed Ed for his portrayal of lovable and quirky Stuckeyville High School student Warren Cheswick. Warren is sort of the extreme of how I felt in high school, says Long. Hes awkward, but instead of accepting it, he tries to counter it, making him look even worse. Long starred last fall in the thriller Jeepers Creepers. He also shared the screen this past spring with pop icon Britney Spears in her feature-film debut Crossroads, delivering Spears first on-screen kiss. Long also starred opposite James King, Brad Renfro and Dominique Swain in this summers satirical film comedy Happy Campers. His other credits include starring roles in Galaxy Quest (with Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver) and the independent features Boygazm and Time Writer. Over his 2002 hiatus, Long appeared in the independent feature Bathroom Boy, with Wendie Malick (NBCs Just Shoot Me) and Stephen Root. On stage, Long has appeared in several New York Theater productions, including The Hot L Baltimore, directed by Joe Mantello and The Shadowbox. His regional theater credits include Final Exam and Barefoot in Athens for the Maxwell Anderson Playwriting Series. While attending Vassar College, Long was a two-year member of the acclaimed sketch comedy group Laughingstock and currently resides in New York City. Biography from NBC.com |
