The poetic voice of expression
that I have come to find
Freedom to be myself to say
my heart, soul and mind.

Expression of God's beauty
that is seen all around
Touches me with this gift
of heaven I have found.

For words do not come easily
when one wants them to
So poetry has become my tool
to express all I do.

In feeling such a pool of emotions
from deep within my heart
To express them in poetic verse
of all that I impart.

Personal experiences
tinged with some sadness
Describe the sorrow and the loss
of feeling emptiness.

Happy times and memories
of love and laughter
Written in the winds of time
of happily ever after.

The tool of my expression
in poetic verse I say
Feelings from deep within myself
in words that I convey.

Poetic expressions of my life
are written from the heart
Beauty from within my soul
are these words that I impart.
