Inside of you is hiding a light that needs to shine,
Wrapped and tied up with the tightest of twine.
I would love to be the man to break that rope,
The one to show you what love is and give you hope.
Treat you as you deserve to be treated with love and respect,
Not like you have been, someone�s possession or just an object.
All I ask is you give me a chance to show you what life should be,
Allow me in so that I can show you what you�ve been unable to see.
I want to let that light out so it can shine brighter then the sun,
Let me start your life over, sort of like it has just begun.
Forget the past and live life for the future and everything it will hold,
Be with me and let me make you happy until we both grow old.
I�m just asking you for the opportunity to be the one to make you smile,
Make you laugh, make you happy, make you see that life is worthwhile.
