My Reason

It has been a while since I have been inspired to write,
But for some reason it hit me, so I clutched my pen tight.
The words started to flow, it was like I was possessed,
I had to keep going, I knew I could not rest.
It all started when I was sitting there thinking of you,
Wondering how I got lucky enough to find a love so true.
When I look into your eyes they shine with such a glow,
Your beauty captivates me, but this you already know.
I love the way the sun glistens from your hair,
Just being around you is like a breath of fresh air.
I like to dream of the future and how it will be,
I can't wait till the day when baby makes three.
This is the final verse so now I must say,
My love for you grows each and every day.
