Moon and the Ocean by Nick E. Costantino Sitting on the shore on a bright starlit night, Beholding the moon, what a wonderful site. It illuminates the sky with an abundant glow, As its rays hit the ocean, it puts on a show. Waves roll onto the shore with the softest of touch, This is a time I can relax and enjoy so much. I can sit, unwind and forget all my troubles, They get swept into the ocean like tiny bubbles. The beauty of the moon and the ocean is a site to see, For there is no other place I can imagine wanting to be. Except for in your arms, where I feel quite content, Would be the only thing that surpasses this moment. When we are together the world seems to stand still, It's like time no longer exists, we can do as we will. But for now I sit here and enjoy this awesome view, Until once again, I am able to spend time with you. |
