It Reminds Me

Everything around me reminds me of you in so many ways,
Which always seems to brighten each and every one of my days.
As the sun rises and shines brightly at every morning start,
It reminds me of your illuminating smile that warms my heart.
When I hear birds singing the songs of their choice,
It reminds me of the soothing sound of your sweet voice.
Seeing children playing in the park, running two by two,
It reminds me of all the fun we have in everything we do.
As dusk gently turns into night and darkness grasps the land,
It reminds me of the feel of your soft touch as we walk hand in hand.
When I see the stars that fill the vast night skies,
It reminds me of the sparkles I see when I look into your eyes.
And last but not least, when I close my eyes and fall asleep,
I dream of us spending time together which makes my day complete.
