ALL OF THIS BECAUSE THEY WANT TO PLACE THEIR NEW POLICE DEPT,. IN A HISTORICAL DOWNTOWN SITE, I HAD ASKED BE SAVED, NOT DESTROYED FOR THIS UNKNOWN BY ME PROJECT.

As I approached the camp site on that above night, about two blocks away, I passed three of the residents fleeing, (unrealized by me

What I didnt say then, he came into my then camp, circling the tree, striking the ground all around with a small machete, which is why, but did, leaving the area immediately later.) I was hesitant to speak to him within the camp) from that area
of trees. Nearer my camp, I could see a person dressed in all black sitting by the concrete drainage ditch wall, his cigarette glow in sight. I asked him if he needed a blanket, but he replied he was fine.
I walked on, assuming he might be a stakeout cop.
Iate and went to sleep, but near 12am, awoke to see across from my tree, a heliocopter with search light spewing with light those trees, plus several groups of supposed, cops wiyh large flashlights moving there.
(I had expected a couple of undercover agents to go in, in the daytime, to really research that area, WHEREAS THIS SWAT TEAM EFFORT WAS RIDICULOUS! IT IS NOW OBVIOUS, THOSE LEAVING THAT I HAD PASSED WERE TIPPED OFF!
The only locally, that had the info I had written was, Indio City Hall, Indio Police and Tim, a worker at the Indio library.
I AWOKE ABOUT 12am, AND SAW GROUPS OF HIGH POWERED FLASHLIGHTS IN THE ACROSS DITCH TREES / A SWAT TEAM APPROACH RATHER THAN SENDING IN UNDERCOVER AGENTS TO RESEARCH IT PROPERLY.
SUDDENLY, A HELIOCOPTER SPRAYED MY TREE WITH BRIGHT BLUISH LIGHT, DID IT TWICE< THEN DEPARTED AS TWO COPS, CAME TO MY TREE< AND I THEN CLTHED< WENT OUTSIDE IT TO MEET THEM. I SAID, I WAS THE ONE THAT HAD INFORMED. THIS MEANT NOTHING TO THEM. I WAS TOLD TO SIT ON THE GROUND,
AND YIELD MY FLASHLIGHT AND ID< WHICH I DID. TO THEIR DISAPPOINTMENT< I HAD NO WARRANT ON ME>
THE SARGEANT REFUSED TO ADDDRESS MY ISSUE THAT RECREATIONAL VEHICLE BYKES USED THE DITCH SIDE ROADS DAILY CONSTANTLY. HE DIDNT WANT TO ADDRESS THAT>
HE ALSO SAID< THE DITCH IS PRIVATE PROPERTY, OWNED BY THE COACHELLA VALLEY WATER DISTRICT. THAT MAY BE PARTIALLY TRUE BUT IT IS THE U.S. ARMY ENGINEER CORPS THAT RULE THIS PROJECT AND THAT IS FEDERAL! I DIDNT CHALLENGE HIM HOWEVER.

I REPORTED THIS TO BILL LOCKYER, CA. ATTY GENERAL FOR THREE YEARS AND GOVERNOR GRAY DAVIS BY EMAIL, AND THEY DID NOTHING!
A local resident told me, this poker game victimizes elders and involves hundreds of dollars daily.
Too the park has persons in cars coming in, taking others across the park, so that the others may enter cars there to go on their way, the persons returning to their cars to return from whence they came. Beautifully organized!

My stipend doesnt come in until next weekend, I have spent my money in this effort.
My bank account is OOPS, I have a better idea. The next Homeless you see, hand them a $5 spot. It will make their day! They can get something to eat or whatever. They can choose, it allows them a moment of freedom...I'll be in the general Coachella Valley area, you cant miss me, I'm 6ft.4", old, rather heavy, decidely feo, and at the moment almost broke. In fact, yesterday, In America, I found two half eaten takeout Mexican dinners, my supper...Not too bad cold. And sleeping, the wind acame blowing in, but in the morning, birds, different kinds danced for me, in the area. I actually saw two Mexican doves, sitting close together, and one jostled the other, an affectionism, I would have thought not possible,...So I wrote a lengthy poem called Ignore The Mocking Bird Poem (For David Niles, on the cardboard mat. It can be read, lets see now, at the Metro theater sign on Hwy 111, go West (towards KMART, and at the first building on the left, you will see some Palo Verde trees, in amoungst some bramble, sunflowers, dried tumbleweeds etc.,you will see the laid* cardboard mat, and thus the poem. *Having been celebate for some years, it is the only thing I have laid, besides my tired old body...at Wells Fargo, should anyone wish to donate even the smallest amount. Later, I'll donate those amounts to the local Martha's Kitchen Villiage Homeless feeding station.

11,22,03: Inspired by birds perhaps, I have a new idea for a service. HOMELESS,ETC. It would be an agenct that would serve only the basics to those clients. A day pak of edibles. Allowing them to use address to get their mail (Its impossible to get a P.O. EVEN with all the ID necessary, which I have, trying many times...though sure terrorists do.)
Clothes referrals, bus passes, blankets, backpacks used or new, sleeping bags used or new, basic body cleaning stuff, especially anti bacterial soap, which actually will kill mites etc, when one washes. ETC., just the basics no frills...As a seasoned Homeless camper for many years, let me list how I maintain my camping outside, when allowed anywhere except in Indio, Ca.
1. As stated the anti bacterial soap is a godsend, a tiny bit will clean the loins of microscopic rank. Etc.
2. Buying a plastic tarp, I then cut up a bandana into one inch strips, and construct a tent into the natural form of the tree. The strips of cloth do not hurt the tree.
3. I have recently perfected a cold diet, rather than cooking. Buying flour tortillas, I place one down, laying on it store bought cole slaw (excellent A, cabbage contains sulfaphone cancer preventive, carrots if in, Vitamin A, plus cabbage's rough fiber insures body's evacuation of wastes, cleaning te colon properly. I either use plain yogurt as if mayonaise or spread from an opened can of tomato paste, (This contains low acid Roma tomatoes, high in prostrate cancer preventives, hundreds times more powerful than tomatoes or sauce!)
Slices of cheese or grated can be placed on top of cole slaw, or the yogurt spooned there, to help one chew the rolled up burrito. I have lost 40 pounds using this method. You can eat all you want.

4. Celestial Wild Berry Zinger tea, put 1 teabag into a screw top lid jar holding a cup of water (add teabag of green tea, if desired), besides the green tea bio flavanoids, every berry will either aid or cleanse the kidneys or liver. Absolutely tried by me for months it will improve your health. There is even a berry that improves the heart as does the green tea, which aids as well the brain. Learn to drink it without added sweetning, thats the best way for the contented cranberry to attract virius molecules to be speeded out of the body via the urine, scientifically documented. The teabags in regular water will be drinkable in a few minutes, much much cheaper than that silly Gatorade stuff.
5. Baby powder* with talc on you (or your pets) will kill instantly any fleas or mites.
*Cheapest at 99 cent stores.
Bedbugs in your bed?, cover your mattress with coating of same, put plastic fitted sheet on bed, then cover with regulat linens. bedbugs attracted by body heat will come up, be blocked by plastic liner, suffocating in the talc**. Motels and other public facilities should do this, simple and cheap.
**Pillows too of course.
