Today I followed a Country Road
and saw visions that lightened my load.
I saw butterflies with bright yellow wings
as I paused to lesten to a brook that sing.

I saw a meadowlark as it flew
in pastures still wet with mouning dew.
I saw Autumn leaves trun golden brown
as they fell litely  to the ground.

I saw a robin on the wing
as a happy song he did sing.
I saw a rainbow after a gentle rain.
The clean fresh air seemed to sweep the
cobwebs from my brain.

I laid down neath a giant Oak
and there in quite mediiation
and  soulful contemplation
I slept til I awoke.
Refreshed in body , mind and soul
Ready to reach for the stars and atain
My goals.
