The Autumn of My Days
By Larry Hart
What shall I choose do in the Autumn of my days? I Know! I shall walk in a leafy glade neath a comforting sky of azure blue.
I shall embrace with a longing gaze each wonder I see along the way, I shall contemplate what lays ahead in the distant haze, As I recall walking knee deep in Clover as I did long ago on distant but not forgotton days.
This walk shall be peaceful and full of rest, and I shall allow only quite thoughts to invade my mind As I walk in this glade in the Autumn of my days.
What shall I do in the Autumn of my days? I shall walk neath a sky of azure blue, Aborted in loving thoughts of you...
