I Am

 

There does not exist a man in my realm;

No Arthur, No Lancelot, No Alexander to damn.

I have searched over seas and beyond the moon--

Looking for a hero to make me swoon.

But Alas, All I have found is a gentle man--

Whose head bears no crown—my biggest fan.

Love him?  Yes, I do.

But he’s not exactly the hero that I thought that I knew.

One thought I have realized and found to be true

When two hearts join there is one that is strong

While the other most likely is filled with song.

There has to be a Lancelot and a Guenivere.

But which is which I have to adhere. 

The thought I have found and known to be true is that

I am Arthur, I am Lancelot, I am Alexander too!
