PEARL




Pearl was a girl I used to know,
And I really loved her so.
She was nice and very sweet,
I'm sure glad we got to meet.

She was special as friends should be,
And more like my little sister to me.
But sadly she died and left this place,
But all my memories of her will not be erased.

She is in Heaven now to stay,
But I still miss her every day.
But I know she must be happier up above,
Where there's no hate, but only love.

My sweet friend.  In all the years that have passed, I still remember your smile.  I don't ever remember you ever being angry at anyone.  You brighten up our days and you made my life seem important.  Athough I was young and I did not understand why you passed away, I know now that God needed you in heaven and that he wanted you to have peace and everlasting happiness. You were an angel sent by Him for a time when I felt no one needed me. I will never forget you, sweet sister, and I know that someday I will see you again.  I love you.
