I saw an angel singing
as the stars shone so bright.
I heard the bells ringing,
About a savior born tonight.
I was a lonely shepherd,
lost in this great big place.
Not knowing where I was headed,
As I lifted my eyes to space.
I heard about the baby
A king he came to be.
To save the world from sin..
And bring salvation to you and me.
As I wondered about this moment
I could feel my teardrops fall.
How can a tiny baby,
came to save us one and all.
Jesus did become a man..
And He died for you and me.
And this very special baby,
came to save and make us free.
So as we give each other gifts
And as send our holiday cheer.
Remember why we celebrate.
This special birth each year.
