Edgar Allan Poe: 19.01.1809 - 07.10.1849.
Edgar lead a very sad life. At the young age of 3 he lost his mother. This wasn't too important to him then becasue he couldn't talk to his mother that much at that age, but it still was a very important loss. Then, when he was 20 years old, he had to suffer the tragedy of his stepmother's death, whom he loved greatly. 6 years after that, when he was 26, his wife Virginia died.
During his first half of his life, he lost everyone he loved, and therefore, became an alcoholic. |
