I discovered the Internet, About 6 months ago. I was opened up to a world, That had everything to show.
There is nothing you cannot find, It is so easy to find your way. When you open up your browser, And see what your mouse can display.
You can visit foreign countries, Without leaving your home. You can have the best conversations, Without picking up the phone.
I have found some of my best friends, Be it email or guestbook. Words cannot begin to explain, The direction my life took.
Cyberpals are what they are, But in reality you know. They're the ones you can turn to, When you've no where else to go.
A monitor with no face in view, A hidden voice within. You type your thoughts across the wires, With finality... you click send.
You receive your reply, That holds all the answers you seek. Somehow they know the question, Before you have a chance to speak.
You turn on your computer, And hurriedly check your mail. Waiting for the next invitation, To visit and talk a spell.
To the outside world without the Web, They cannot fathom the possibility. Of spreading your joys and secrets to, Someone you cannot see.
Thank you to all the ones I've met, And you know who you are. I would love for us to meet face to face, And talk without using the space bar!!!!
