Christmas is a special time of year
When families gather from far and near
Reminiscing of days gone by
Or stopping in to just say hi!
The shopping and baking, the wrapping of gifts
Bring joy to everyone on ole St. Nick's list
The laughter and hugs, the twinkle of an eye
While children wait anxiously for that jolly ole guy
