| Waiting For Tomorrow Those days that were with us, Though knowing that the hands, That held me so close, Won�t be here forever, Walking home at night, The loneliness, Creeps upon me, Knowing that you wouldn�t, Be here with me forever, The tears can no longer, Be kept inside my heart, Knowing the months ahead, Wouldn�t be as happy, As the months, I�m with you right now, I just feel sad. The dream that I have, About us each night, I can already see, It slipping away slowly, Within our reach, My hands are no longer, Warm as they used to, When I touch you, I can see that you no longer, Feel the same way, I can feel the pain, That is in your heart, But I just don�t know, Whether that pain, Is the pain of losing me, Or the pain of being with me. You are no longer happy, You no longer laugh, I guess I just have to wait, To see tomorrow, How our love turns out, Waiting for tomorrow, To come and go, Hopefully happiness would be, Here forever with me, But I know, Once your heart changes, I will no longer be able, To hold on to you. |
