Loving In Pain
Yesterday when you told me, A small little lie, Everything was fine, When the day went by, Everything was back, To where they it was, When you smiled at me, I would laugh, When you told me a joke, I would cry, When we were so in love, I could never fall in love, Without anyone else, But you. At the last minute, My love was pure, I gave you all my dreams, It seemed like eternity, That we had loved each other, The normal heart beat, Side by side, I thought not even, The rain could have washed, Our love away, But just one minute short, I turned around, And you were gone. Winter came, Nothing was the same, Without you near me, All I could do, Was sit and count, The falling snow, Each snow flake, They were lasting forever, I could never have counted, All of them, Perhaps it was the pain, Of loving you, Loving in pain, The memories of you, The love that you left behind. |
