In The Nights
In the darkness, Of the lonely nights, I can hear the footsteps, Fading away, It is you coming to me, Or is it just me, Thinking about someone, Who will never come back? Is it just me, Or is it my heart, Not willing to let go, Of the nights? The night is slowly, Leaving me, Like the memories, You leave behind, Tomorrow, When the sun comes up, On the other horizon, I�ll be walking all along, As the clouds slowly fade away, Into the sunset, I�ll still be here, All alone without you, I�ll watch the night comes by, And think about you. I will once again, Walk down this road, With so much memories, On the fading footsteps, I�ll think about you, All the happiness, Will once again come back, Like a heavy burden, On my gentle shoulders, When the happiness fades away, I�ll once again, Live with reality, The reality that you, Will never come back, Like you always do. |
