| As I face each new day I start it with a prayer. Each day is a new journey; I make sure the Lord is there. I ask for His good company. I seek His watchful eye. I ask Him for some guidance, Then on Him I rely. He�s the provider of the sunshine That brightens up my day. He�s the echo in my laughter, The joy along the way. He�s the smile in my voice When I tell a friend hello. He�s the love in my heart; The love I hope I show. He knows when things aren�t easy And He always understands. He�ll never leave me stranded; He is my helping hand. He�ll walk with me through sorrows; He�ll lessen any pain; As long as He is needed At my side He will remain. |
