| Straw & Sticks & Bricks |
| Straw and sticks and bricks. Bricks and straw and sticks. Three piggies they went on their way one warm and sunny piggy day, with straw and sticks and bricks. The straw was easily carried 'twas not a weighty load. The sticks were bundled hurriedly and carted down the road. But the bricks, now they were heavy and it would take some time to lay one brick upon another there'd be no room for play. The first little piggies' house was built in one hour maybe less. The second piggy nailed and tied his twigs into a mess. The third little pig worked for days building a good strong frame. He filled in every crease and crack in case the bad wolf came. One night when the pigs were sleeping snoring their piggy snores, the big bad wolf came creeping and knocking on their doors. The straw house was his first stop. "Piggy, piggy, let me in!" The piggy woke up fast and cried, "Not by my chiney chin chin!" With a huff and puff the wolf blew down the straw house, glad it wasn't bricks, and the piggy ran piggy fast to his brother's house of sticks. They stood inside holding the door they heard the wolf come by, "Piggies, Piggies, let me in!" All's they could do was cry! "I'll huff and huff, and puff and puff, This house will fall down quick!" And the piggies ran out the back door to their brother's house of brick. Their brother saw them coming, the door was open wide. The wolf caught up and saw the house and just stood out there and cried. He knew the bricks were solid. and that he could huff and puff, but no matter how much breath he had it wouldn't be enough! The piggies inside just giggled and dialed 911. The police came by and took the wolf that ended all his fun! Well the wolf he was found guilty of mean and nasty tricks, and don't you know he now resides in a jail house made of bricks! |
