What price happiness do I pay?
I’m asking the Master night and day.
Why do you mind so every blemish!
Will I find forgiveness, or will I perish
Like a fallen star in a wasted day…  
What price happiness do I pay?
I’ll gladly pay it! Just let me stay
Happy for one moment! And so I pray…

“Let me see the sunrise one more time,
Find a heart and call it “love of mine”.
Let me give the mirthless one last smile,
Hold on to the magic for a while,
Without any regrets, without any shame…
I’ve no right to ask, but grant it just the same.”

What price happiness do I pay
For the love I found…and will it stay,
Or will it dissolve into the fading day?
