"Never start fights with fools," he said

Standing on a hill and puffing a pipe

His young son tugged at his shirt

"What do you mean, daddy?"

"Well, son," said the man, dragging

Deep into his lungs the thoughtful poison

"Never start fights with fools, for in their minds

They've already won," he said, grinning

The child looked up at his father, fat with pride

And black with smoke, and blinked

"What do you stare at, son?" asked the scholar

"I thought I saw you sweating," said the child

I don't know if it means anything, cuz I wrote it in one stroke in about a minute and a half.
