Note:
The Oil Level Sensor is, basically, a meter that gauges how much oil is in the Oil Pan. If the Oil Pan doesn't contain enough oil, the engine will not start. This proved to be crucial because the 2003 motor didn't have an Oil Level Sensor (see picture below) and the original pan that came off of my old engine had a hole in it from from throwing the rod of the #1 cylinder(see below).
So we ended up getting another oil pan from another 1st generation Vulcan out of the wrecking yard.
