CLIENT STORIES

Client G.H., who holds a law degree from Harvard, had been the CEO of his own oil company and was bankrupt when he came for help.   As they worked together, he proceeded to become a stock broker, then to manage the branch of a law firm, then to be a land broker, then to be a lawyer/consultant to a CEO for a national trucking firm.  He is at the present time a private investor doing extremely well financially, having discovered his talent for managing stocks, and learning to face his need not to be in a structured work situation, and is using his people skills and satisfying his community need and values by being an active fund-raiser for his college.

Client G.S. was a promising young architect, a single man, who left Houston in the oil bust, and -- from the frying pan into the fire -- moved to San Antonio, Texas, had been jilted by a girl-friend, and was just stabilizing from a drug problem.  He was immediately laid off from the job he had moved for, as that firm went under.  He found himself alone, broke and unemployed in a city where he knew no one, and the stress was threatening his sobriety.  He had no direction, marginal motivation, was locked into the concept that he had to stay in San Antonio, and had given up on women.  He is now making 6 figures working for an architectural firm in North Carolina, is married, sober, and back into life.

Client G.H., a Ph.D. who had a waiting list for his counseling practice billing 55 hours a week, and who had also owned successful businesses, was burnt out and needed something but didn't know what.  He was also computer illiterate, never having touched one, and dead set against learning it.  He loved WHAT he was doing, but not HOW he was doing it.  With Susan's help, he discovered what coaching had to offer, and is now segueing his career in that direction.  She showed him how coaching could potentially double his income, give him freedom, avoid the hassles of insurance, and use his airplane as a tax writeoff.  She helped him develop websites for both coaching and online counseling, and to market them, and helped him overcome his resistance to computers.
