Our Grasskeets
BACK
These are our breeder red-rump parakeets. They are a bit bigger
than the common parakeet. They are actually about the size of a
Cocatiel. The male is Lutino and the female is
cinnamon. They should begin breeding sometime near the end
of summer 07. Notice the male's red eyes.
This picture shows his mate in the background. These make
wonderful pets when hand-fed. We do plan on handfeeding their
babies.
The following is our Rosie Bourkes parakeet. I will add pictures
of his mate soon. These are very
docile, very sweet birds. Notice the pink color of this bird.
These have not bred for us yet. We hope to start breeding them in
the next few months. These are pretty quiet birds and make
WONDERFUL pets. They are extremely docile and gentle.
