| September 21-22, 2003: daddy and mommy took me to spend a night at the shangri-La. we swam a lot and i also got to meet laa laa from teletubbies, hehe.. mommy asked me to leave laa-laa alone September 1, 2003: we moved to another house in jatibening area... i didn't get to live there with mommy and daddy right away though, cause they need to tidy up stuffy so everything is safe for me .. :) August 28, 2003: i love my mommy and daddy so much, cause i know they love me very much much more.. August 27, 2003: i didn't miss nanna, in fact i didn't event think about her, cause my mommy's with me all the time :) August 26, 2003: my nanna ranaway!! one afternoon, dad looked for me, i got temperature but i was no where to be found, so dad took a walk to the end of the street and saw me running around at the busy intersection, chasing a balloon! then daddy caught my nanna was sitting around with some boys in front of a house, that made dad really mad but he didn't say anything, he just grabbed me and took me home. when my mommy got home nanna told her that she wanted to quit, mom asked her to stay till weekend so we can find a new friend for me. she said yes but the next morning we woke up, she's gone and she took the maid with her, she left the gate and the front door swung open!! July 8, 2003: i'm 16 month old now. i always use the toilet seat for poopy-time now. more vocab: c'mon!, naik (up), kucing (cat), cubit (pinch), ganti (change), basah (wet), chips, ant, semut (ant), stone, okey, yes, high five, hair, rambut, ears, mouth. and my fav words are MAMAUUU! (for 'nggak mau!' or 'i don't want to!'). June 17, 2003: i'm back to jakarta :-) woooowww.. i really had a terrific wonderful happy times in the village, i went swimming a lot, i fed oma's short/pigmy chickens every morning, i played with peewee and played with the local kids too. i ate a lot! and i made my nanna and oma busy cause i wanted to be everywhere and played with new stuff there. i can't wait till i can go there again, maybe mommy and daddy will let me go again next month :-) more words (it's amazing how i'm good both in bahasa indonesia and in english at the same time): sini! (come here!), gemes, sayaaaang (love), pat! pat!, eyang (grandpa), akakaba! (for abrakadabra!), flag, fountain, bike, chair, duduk, sit down, naik, up, turun, down, elmo, bigburr (what i meant was bigbird, hehe), giga (for giggles) June 10, 2003: my first experience on choo choo train :-) oma (grandma) took me to her house in purwokerto, central java. i'll be there for 8 days, playing with eyang (grandpa) and peewee (mommy's beloved dachshund), nanna (my nanny) and lots of animals there. First week of May, 2003: my forth lower tooth came in. i can point at more things and call their names appropriately too, my new vocab as of now: mommy kerja (mommy's at work), daddy bobo (daddy's asleep), goodnight, turtle, cow, airplane, bella (for umbrella), kaki (foot), gila!! (crazy!!), topi (hat), moon, star, sun, roti (bread), orange, nggak ada (none), nggak!! (no!!), mana mickey? (where's mickey?), hello?? (whenever i answer phone calls) and my fav word nowadays is 'MORE' especially for food :-). Mom let me to sit on a stool for bathy now, that way i can put all my toys in the bathtub and kick them around, they just want me to get used to the shower, so they soon can bath me easily at the club after my swimming lesson. First week of April, 2003: my third lower tooth came in. by now i can mount my car, horse and climb on the couch myself. and my fav toys are car toys and... balls. March 20, 2003: i made my first three steps!!! ok ok, they're just tiny ones, but they're giants for me. mommy and daddy weren't around though, mommy was still on the way home from work and daddy was still in singapore. not too worry, i'll show them my giant little steps again soon. March 17, 2003: nowadays i can pronouce this words and used them properly: momma, daddy, nanny, oma (grandma), budi (the uncle nextdoor), wawa (water), boby (my uncle boby), baby, ade (little sister/brother), kakak (big sister/brother), mickey, pooh (for winnie the pooh), teddy (bear), dua (two), itu (that one), ball, ballon, buka (open), cicak (little lizards), puss (kitty), kuda (horse) & horsy, hello, aduh (exclamation like oops!), taxi, car, peda (for sepeda/bicycle), bubo (scientific name for owl), aqua (mineral water). I can also call for my friends: ima, oddie (audrey), abba (akbar). oh yea i won't forget this: my fav word is NO. March 6, 2003: i got new formula - GAIN Advance. March 1, 2003: my bday party was at 3pm. i couldn't wait until my 7 little friends any my closest family arrive. They finally came, my small party was a blast!! February 27, 2003: a little cake, a lot of fun. Christine Marie is turning one!! Daddy and Mommy bought me a new matrass, couple rugs, and lots of dishes, mugs and spoons all with winnie the pooh & friends characters on them. But my fav was the activity table! I can call for Daddy now.. and Nanna (nanny) too and lots more, I'm definitely a talker! 1st week of February 2003: more 2 upper teeth came in. 1st Week of January 2003: my 2 front upper teeth came in! weehaa, i'm a professional muncher now. Late December 2002: spent christmas in Bali, then we travelled to Jogjakarta and to my grandparents house in central Java First week of November 2002: my second lower tooth came in too! November 9, 2002: I got my first boo-boo :( I fell off the bed.. 1st week of October 2002: My first lower tooth came in!! I can now wave bye-bye, prop up myself for standing, and clap my hands. August 5, 2002: I don't like papaya! July 31, 2002: My auntie, Brian Beep Beep the owl, died, mom and dad who were in Bali for vacation rushed back home. It was a very sad day for our family. Auntie Beep Beep, you'll always be in our hearts. July 17, 2002: I can sit up now... and my fav pastime was sucking my toes July 13, 2002: Mommy gotta change my diaper to size L. July 6, 2002: my first swimming lesson June 30, 2002: First biscuit for baby boogie! May 26, 2002: I was christened at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Jakarta. May 15, 2002: I can roll over now.. May 5, 2002: Celebration of my birth, mom and dad held a bbq lunch, lots of family and friends came, and wehaa... I got lots of presents. May 1, 2002: I started to sleep through the night This is a very busy month for me, I laughed loudly on silly things and I can grasped for toys very good too. April 15, 2002: I was weaned early because i was lactose-intolerance. They then gave me soya formula: Isomil and changed to Similac when I was 5-mo. April 14, 2002: Nanny Minah's first day. I love her so much, she's my bestfriend. She's still with us until now :-) March 30, 2002: First happy trip with mom and dad. We had lunch and nice afternoon stroll at a mall. March 2, 2002: My first smile... I was 3 days old February 27, 2002: I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia at 4:47pm. I was 3,5kg and 53cm with jetblack hair, which later on changed to brown. |
