| Hobbies | ||||||
| One of my favorite hobbies is driving. It may sound dumb, but, when I'm in my car, I'm free. When I'm pissed off or upset about something, I just get in, crank the tunes (more on that later), and take off. Its my place to think and getaway from everything. One night I got in and drove the 60 miles to downtown Chicago and then the 60 miles back. Nothing else matters when I'm in my car. I just go and go and go. My release. | ||||||
| Music is another one of my hobbies. Just to name a few of my favorits bands: Atreyu, Strata, Trust Company, Sum 41 (later stuff), and Billy Talent. Check 'em out, they all rock. This another one of my escapes. I just crank it loud enough to tune out the entire world. when I'm in this state, nothing affects me, except a quick shot to the head, that tends to get my attention. Otherwise I am untouchable. | ||||||
| Working on cars is definatly a big one for me, being a mechanic and all. This is my chance to show the world what I can do. Today, cars are so complex, many times I believe the engineers that design them don't completly understand them. There are so many things in them that people take for granted or dont even think or know about them. Take the new BMW 5.0L V-10. Ten cylinders, 40 valves, infinatly adjustable timing. Each cylinder produces more than 50 horsepower, 507 hp being cranked out of this engine. It is an engineering marvel. enough power to launch it down a 1/4 mile dragstrip in the mid 12 second range. They facinate me to no end. Every day I learn something new, and it just keeps hitting me, how incredible a feeling is such. | ||||||
