* Don't forget to properly dewinterize your boat. If there is any doubt on what you need to do, please feel free to contact us. It is far cheaper to let us dewinterize for you than to repair what you might damage when you do it yourself.
* The life time of a water pump impeller, under the most favorable conditions, is about three years. When was the last time you replaced yours. A little preventative maintenance makes for a more enjoyable weekend than setting on the bank.
* Marine engines and drives are always under load and that engine and drive runs the best when it is well lubricated. Don't forget to change your engine and drive oil at least once each season.
* Even though your trailer doesn't see as much action as your boat, it does need attention too. Each time you dunk it, a little grease is washed off of those wheel bearings. Don't forget to have your bearings checked. Believe it or not, those trailer brakes do help you slow and stop that that heavy boat. Have your brakes checked often.
* Inboard/ Outboard Drives are not designed for "Hole Shots". If you want a good "Hole Shot", buy an Outboard engine. Wanna see what happens to that drive when those hard core guys stand on the throttles coming out of the hole with an I/O? Click here.
* Watch where you are going. Take care of that prop. A prop on a boat is equal to the tires on a car. If it breaks, you are not going anywhere. Wanna see what happens when you abuse a prop or do not pay attention to where you are going. Click here.
