LAST CONCERT at FILLMORE
even our words flash and splinter
beneath strobes and ultraviolet
in rapid fire shadow and light
your white levis combust in cool
luminousities and a thousand years
on, this paler shade of your thighs
still burns behind my eyes
and all because
five foot few of southern
comforted soul boils in
rainbows of oil blobs
her hair become scattering
birds
that voice glows, sobs
cyan and roan
screams just
another
part of her heart
into the microphone
