Wrestler's Background: From a very early age, Misty Xiao has been an athletic overachiever, particularly in her two most beloved activities -- judo and table tennis. Though she pursued martial arts mainly as a hobby, table tennis was her real passion; she won her first international table tennis championship at the age of 12, and the rest, as they say so often, was history. With nearly consistent success in international competitions, she went on to become one of Hong Kong's best-known athletic stars. Misty loved the spotlight, and the spotlight plainly loved her right back: her fame led her to numerous high-profile endorsement deals and media exposure throughout southeast Asia. But despite her celebrity in the East, her name remained unknown in the West. It looked like a tough nut to crack for the ambitious young woman.
In 2003, a man known only as Mr. PB offered Misty a way to change all that and become a breakout star world-wide -- if she would only accept a position in his organization. That "way" was not through table tennis, but professional wrestling -- and that organization was the Syndicate of EVIL...

Gimmick: Bubbly and perky, athletic, but immature, Misty Xiao was chosen by her evil leader to conquer the singles ranks of PNW and the WWA, and ultimately to capture the World Heavyweight Title for the glory of the Syndicate of EVIL~!
Appearance (In Ring And Out): Misty Xiao is a slim, fit 20-year-old Chinese woman. She has glossy shoulder-length black hair (sometimes tied in pigtails), dark eyes, and an angelic, youthful face. Her ring attire consists of a crimson, high-collared sports bra-like top with a large monarch butterfly embroidered over the chest, and matching crimson trunks. She also wears short black boots, black elbow- and kneepads, and red wrist tape.
Full Ring Entrance:
[The lights dim. The opening vocals from Queen's "Princes of the Universe" ring throughout the arena...]
[On the jumbotron appears an image of an iridescent angel in shimmering robes, drawn anime-style. With a flourish, the angel tips her face to the heavens and spreads her wings--]
[--And a single spotlight cuts through the dark arena, shining a white circle on the curtain at the top of the ramp. The curtain flutters, and two figures emerge, each taking up honor guard position on either side of the entrance. One is tall and solidly built, wearing a lascivious grin and clad in full cowboy attire: the self-styled Casanova known as Ash the Man-Soon. The other is tall, wide, thick, surly, and hairy, resembling nothing so much as a gorilla sewn into the biggest black Armani suit in history: the Russian pugilist, Joe Boxer.]
[The spotlight fades, leaving only a column of white Chinese characters projected on the curtain. Then the fabric parts, revealing the mighty Syndicate of EVIL's "chosen one"...]

[Sheets of glittering red pyro spill down around the entranceway as Misty Xiao dances triumphantly onto the stage. She's clad in a crimson, high-collared top with a monarch butterfly embroidered over the chest, matching crimson trunks, short black boots, black elbow- and kneepads, and red wrist tape. Her glossy black hair is tied in two bouncing pigtails. Misty glances all about with a cheery grin, relishing the spectacle of her own grand entrance.]
[After a moment, she continues down the ramp, followed by her Syndicate comrades...]
Ring Announcer: Now coming to the ring, accompanied by Ash the Man-Soon and Joe Boxer... Hailing from Hong Kong, China... Standing 5'7" and weighing 134 pounds... Representing the Syndicate of EVIL... She is "The Red Angel" MISTY XIAO!
[Misty flashes her exuberant grin at the ringside fans, totally oblivious to their jeers and boos. Halfway down the aisle, Misty breaks into a sprint and dives into the ring. Another spotlight comes on to illuminate her as she hops to her feet, climbs to the top rope, and throws her fist in the air, cameras flashing throughout the crowd.]
[Joe Boxer and Ash take up position at ringside and aim intimidating glares all around, as the arena lights come on once more.]

Stretch Plum - similar to a dragon sleeper, with the opponent's head and arm stretched backward. Can be done on the ground or from an abdominal stretch position.

Dancing kneedrop - Misty does a cheerful little dance, then drops her knee across the opponent's head.

"Hanging Ivy" - a hanging figure-four necklock: with the opponent's back against the ropes, Misty climbs up and scissors the opponent's neck with her legs figure-four style, then hangs outside the ropes to exert pressure on the neck. She can also reach between the ropes and hook up the opponent's legs for a tarantula-like version of the hold.

Red mist - in emergencies, Misty sprays red mist in her opponent's face to gain an advantage.
Finishing Moves and Description:

“My Little Pony” - a diving straddled face plant; i.e., with the opponent facing away, Misty jumps off the top turnbuckle -OR- springboards off the top rope, then scissors the opponent's arm and head with her legs, and “rides” his shoulders/neck, using her weight to drive him down in a face plant.
