Wrestler's Background: Seth Maverick is extremely secretive about his past -- so much so that he's been known to explode into violence at personal questions. But in his weaker moments, steeped in delerium from methamphetamines and cheap whiskey, he has revealed glimpses of a bitter childhood -- one fraught with isolation, neglect, and personal tragedy.

In and out of trouble for most of his life, addicted to antidepressants and alcohol, and perpetually teetering on the edge of suicide, Seth would certainly have perished in miserable obscurity... if not for one fateful incident. One spring night, Seth was capping off an all-night drinking binge with a vicious parking lot brawl with a posse of bikers. Drunk and unsteady as he was, he could not be touched; he put his attackers down one by one with the ruthlessness and efficiency of a professional fighter. As Seth staggered away from the scene, fumbling to light a cigarette, he noticed a black car parked at the curb. The window slid open and an arm beckoned him closer. The figure within identified himself as Mr. PB, and said there was a place in his organization for a man who knew his way around a fight. The car door clicked open, invitingly.

Seth had nowhere he needed to be. He puffed on his cigarette and got in the car.

Gimmick: Psychologically unstable -- and always *this* close to snuffing himself -- Seth Maverick is a hired enforcer in Mr. PB's Syndicate of EVIL, and the powerhouse partner of Brigham Smith in the tag team Manifest Destiny. His mission: to dominate the tag ranks of PNW and ultimately of the whole WfWA!

Appearance (In Ring And Out): Seth Maverick is tall and powerfully built, with habitually narrowed hazel eyes and a tanned complexion. He sports a head of messy, shoulder-length black hair, a goatee and a faceful of unshaven stubble. In the ring, Seth is clad in black khaki pants with the word "MAVERICK" down the left leg in stylish silver letters, and black boots; his fists are also taped. 

Full Ring Entrance:

[The opening vocals from Queen's "Princes of the Universe" ring throughout the arena...]

[On the jumbotron appears a vast mountainous landscape. The view sweeps at enormous speed across rocky steppes, river valleys, and sheer cliffs, approaching a flat peak. Two figures, tiny at a distance but growing larger as the shot zooms in, stand with arms folded, surveying the world around them with the imperious air of conquerors.]

[Two words strobe over this image: MANIFEST DESTINY.]

[Blue and white pyro explodes from the stage, and those same two figures stride out onto the ramp: Seth Maverick and "The Stormin' Mormon" Brigham Smith. Almost immediately, the fans are booing them relentlessly.]

[Maverick is tall and muscular, sporting a head of messy, shoulder-length black hair and an unshaven face. He wears black khaki pants with "MAVERICK" down the left leg in silver letters, black boots, and white tape on his fists. Smith -- smaller but lithe in appearance -- is clad in short blue-and-white tights, white pads and boots. He also wears a hooded vest that is blue in front, white in back with the initials "TSM" written in blue; the hood is pulled over his short unkempt brown hair. Tucked under his arm is a leather-bound edition of the Book of Mormon.]

[Behind them appears a large and stocky man dressed in a crisp white ship captain's uniform: their Syndicate colleague, The Skipper. Together, the three men stride purposefully down the ramp...]

Ring Announcer: Now coming to the ring, accompanied by The Skipper and "The Stormin' Mormon Brigham Smith... Weighing in at 265 pounds... Representing the Syndicate of EVIL... Seth Maverick -- MANIFEST DESTINY!

[Amid loud jeering, the trio enters the ringside area. The Skipper remains on the floor while Brigham and Maverick slip into the ring. As Seth goes to his team's corner and leans listlessly against the turnbuckles, Brigham stands in the center of the ring, accepts a microphone from the ring announcer, and addresses the crowd...]

Smith: Good evening, my Brothers and Sisters...

4. "Bad Providence" - Seth hangs an opponent in the Tree of Woe, then charges in and delivers a sliding dropkick to the face.
