It's the people that make the experience memorable
Here with Mischa. A guy from the Russian army I found out.
No word of english but in the end I had a good laugh with him. This was especially caused by an encounter with police officers on the train who wanted me to pay a fine because I was drinking the illigal substance 'vodka' :-O
Luckily Mischa, and Yuri (below) could use their influence to let the police not only return my passport but also my vodka bottle without a fine.....The bottle of vodka, of course, was consumed with these two army guys. Gotta love m!!
Above; Yuri. Also from the Russian Army. A real patriot I noticed by telling me his lifestory in very broken english.
On the left we have our lovely train attendant Olga. With some charm and smiles I managed to get loads of cheap food and beer. Olga; I'll be gratefull forever!
One of the many other Russians I met. As soon as you can tell them in Russian that you're a tourist and travelling around the world they point at their throat, meaning; wanna have a drink?
And yes, I have had many drinks....
My Trans Siberian experience is expressed and printed on the left

Vodka, connecting people. At least in my case!
