Facts:

History:

Technology: The Planetarium is based around a star projector, planetary projector, and control systems built by Spitz, Inc., of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. It has a 40-foot hemispherical dome built of perforated aluminum panels, on an iron frame suspended inside a three-story octagonal enclosure.

        BA, UT-Austin; MEd, Lamar University; USMC, 1969-71; Joined the Port Neches ISD, Fall of 1971; Taught at Woodlawn JHS, Groves JHS, Groves MS, Port Neches-Groves High School; Became Director of the PN-G ISD Planetarium in 1989; Married since 1971; wife, middle school Foreign Languages teacher, BISD; one son, science teacher, Technology Specialist, Curriculum Specialist, Spring Branch ISD (Houston)
