Congratulations to our hosts on a job well done, we appreicate all your hard work in making it such a success. The event was held at the Galleria Restaurant at York University on Saturday, September 16th 2006, PNG's actual Independence Day anniversary. Over 150 guests turned up to enjoy some lovely food and win some pretty amazing prizes - including a rugby ball and shirt signed by Bradford Bulls star Stanley Gene, who also attended and handed out the prizes. Her excellency the High Commissioner Jean Kekedo addressed us, wearing a lovely ensemble and encouraged us to put PNG's creativity on the map! We finished off by dancing the night away.
