It was the big one, the 30th!
On Saturday, September 17th 2005 at the Lakeview Country Club in beautiful Cornwall the PNG community in the UK celebrated the 30th anniversary of our independence. It was a fantastic night with memorable performances by our Kiribas friends, the East New Britain contingent and some lovely singing by the Central ladies!!
A big THANK-YOU to the organisers Serah Nerius and Simon Swale, Jan and Rob Penny, and Tony and Piu Bevington, a job very well done!!!!
Thanks as ever to the PNG High Commission for their kind financial donation and for the case of champagne and of course to everyone who attended!
