I would also love to hear from you if you find that we are distantly related.Most of the Dennis Family and their ancestors are from Lancaster and Chester counties in Pennsylvania. They have been here in the United States for over 200 years. Some of my ancestors have been in the U.S. for almost 400 years, arriving in Plymouth Mass. on, or shortly after the arrival of, the Mayflower. See the Doane and Hopkins families for details. My mothers family has been in the U.S. for a little over 100 years, arriving from what is now south-east Poland in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Family names have been traced back to the mid-1700's in Poland, but records are sparse, and there are a few generations missing. I have tried to keep all information on living individuals private.
