Cassata has grown from two classrooms on one floor to eight classrooms, a technology lab, a library and a multipurpose room and from three graduates in the first year to over 3,500 since 1975.
Cassata was established as Cassata Learning Center. The name was changed to Cassata High School in 2003 to more accurately reflect the current activity of the school and to be certain that the school was understood to be much more than a tutoring facility.
Cassata High School is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Texas Catholic Conference.
Cassata High School is an outreach program of the Fort Worth Catholic Diocese serving students high school age and older. All faiths, ethnicity and cultures are welcome. The diversity of our student body is one of Cassata�s strongest assets.
Cassata funding comes from donations and contributions, grants and from tuition collected on a sliding scale based on family income.
While there have been personnel changes through the years at Cassata, one thing has remained constant: Cassata has offered a unique learning experience since 1975. During that time, Cassata has used the same techniques for reaching students. The hallmarks of education at Cassata are still small classes, individual attention and a teaching approach designed to allow students to progress at a pace consistent with their individual academic abilities and knowledge.
