This is my dear angel, Edgar. I named him after Edgar Martinez, two-time batting title winner. The kittens (Edgar, Nermal and Boots) were born the year the Seattle Mariners won the A.L. West, and Edgar won the batting title.
Don't let this one fool you--he's a cold-blooded killer. He kills and eats anything that moves, including squirrels, spiders, possum, rats, and mice. He's been in a lot of fights and loves to camp at the bowl, eating chicken and rice Purina ONE. He's scratched me up quite a bit, but he's a
sweetheart, he likes his stomach rubbed.

This is his sister Boots. She acts a lot like her father, a stray we used to see come around the yard alot. She's very quiet and likes to keep to herself. It's only at nighttime when she's ready to go to bed that she whines and lets you pet her. Then she purrs like a submachine gun.

This is the mother of Edgar, Boots and Nermal. When she was just a kitten she was small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. She's very mean because she was the runt of her litter. She was beat up a lot by a cat that looked an awful lot like Edgar, though a longhair and twice as big. She fights a lot with Boots, for the Queen Bitch of the Mountain title, since Nermal could care less. Taz is the only one that will really talk to you, and she's just as sweet as she can be, when she's in the mood.
