Benjamin Miller started out as a consumate politician and buisnessman,
with a good reputation and a friendly manner. Traveling to Baltimore
from his native Wales in 2001, he made his home in the notoriously
unstable city. After serving Mat Knox as Primogen, Jon Milton as
Seneschal, and Anthony Pirelli as "Advisor", he fled Baltimore for
the District of Columbia when Talius Dire and his Nosferatu violently
overthrew the city.
After a year of living in exile, he returned with Marshal Duran to
stablize the city. After serving Duran as Keeper of Elysium for a time,
Duran was attacked by Sabbat and run off. So, Miller ascended to the
Princedom. After things started out well, the conflict between the
members of his cabinet culminated in the assassination of Mason Laidlaw.
The pressure of being Prince had been accelerating his degeneration, and
the resulting scandal (and guilty consience for allowing Mason's death)
culminated in near wassail. Only the intervention of Joseph Drake, his
adopted brother, saved him from final death. After spending time abroad,
re-gathering his mental faculties, he returned to the Mid-Atlantic as a
soldier.
Now, Miller is withdrawn, prone to violent outbursts, and filled with
loathing for his existence and all humanity. Subconciously wanting to die,
he throws himself into any dangerous situation. It's only a matter of time
before he succeeds.
