Silent Strider Litany.
A Silent Strider Ragabash Speaks on the the Litany:

Garou shall not mate with Garou:

* She looks to the young cub as he asks why and smiles* Because the child is invariably born with a mental or physical defomity, and is mostly treated with disdain by the other tribes. The parents are often outcast, punished, sometimes killed for breaching the litany. We as a tribe do not treat our metis as lesser....the blame is not their own but that of their parents. We are also more understanding of the parents, it's hard to settle down and mate when you have no home, and the road so often calls.

Combat the wyrm whenever it breeds and wherever it dwells:

There are some tribes more suited to confrontation and bloody battles...we are not one of those tribes. We are not organised enough for large scale battle, we don't have the advantage of numbers or home turf, we are the messengers of the Garou, we are more suited to bringing back information to the caerns about attacks than standing and fighting a battle we will lose.

Respect the Territory of Another:

*sighs sadly as this one is brought up* Well you see, kid...when every other tribe speaks of their homelands with pride, and become defensive of any who walks in their home....we can but nod, sigh and move on. Part of our heritage is our lack of access to our homeland. We will always be walking in the lands of another....often without permission because our stay is brief. Just be careful where you go...and hope you don't get caught.

Accept an honourable Surrender:

Honour is important to the Garou,....whatever others do, we keep to ours. When they are given take them as is right, humilty is a harsh teacher. Let them learn.

Submission to those of Higher Station:

*tilts her head a little* This is as much an exercise in survival as a good track for learning. I don't mean going over the top, but a basic yes rhya can open alot of doors for you, and make sure you aren't on any elders hitlist. Every year a Garou survives within the society brings many trials, many tribulations....many deaths...learn to give the respect due to those who have survived that, they are owed that much, and they may give up some of their tales to help you.

First share of the kill to the Highest of Station:

Courtesy man, courtesy...those of higher station by right have earned their position and rank, the greatest find and kill goes to them in tribute. Though any intelligent leader knows loyalty can sometimes be enforced by sharing to those beneath them the finds it shows a loyalty to the pack and sept as well, though not all see this as "proper". Thoose that steal the finds are dishonourable and should be treated as such.
