PMY's Objectives

The Pusat Majudiri Y seeks to:

• Increase public awareness of deafness and its impact on society.
• Provide opportunities for the holistic development of all sectors of the Deaf community, regardless of gender, race or religion, including the establishment and strengthening of interest groups.
• Promote early education, bilingual education and training opportunities for the Deaf.
• Work with the Deaf to ensure their rights as citizens and to actively advocate for them.
• Increase the participation of the Deaf Community in society towards their integration into all spheres of life of community.
• Build networks with non-government organizations and with government organisations to enhance services and facilities for the Deaf.
